Before that, however, Christians found themselves in the throes of Pagan Rome. In this ep we attempt to paint the picture of what life was like for some of the very first followers of Jesus, and the hardships the church faced as the Christian faith spread. There's a surprising amount of cross over between then and now.

There was some faithfulness, but a lot of compromise. From the bold few like Bonhoeffer, to the multitudes of Christians singing hymns to drown out the noises of trains carrying Jews to concentration camps, the time of the rise of the Third Reich is a humble tale in Church history, and it's one we cannot ignore.
