This the second episode in The Gospel Foretold series. This episode will conclude the book of Genesis, which we broke into two episodes. The aim of the Old Testament scriptures was to anticipate or point forward to the coming of the Messiah, and it accomplished through various types, foreshadows, design patters and prophesies. 

We are starting a new series, which we're calling: The Gospel Foretold. Each book of the Bible contains multiple illusions to the good news of Jesus Christ. We see, from the very words of Jesus contained in Luke 24, that all the Scriptures point to Him. In this series we will briefly summarize the various stories and sections of each book that containing typological significance. This is the third and final part of this series. In this episode we discuss the Nephilim, who are characters who appear in the Old Testament Bible and are sometimes referred to as giants. We tackle how an ancient Israelite would have seen these strange hybrid characters, and why it's important for us to set aside our modern sensibilities and to be sincere with what the Bible presents. Secondarily we discuss the special way that the doctrine of the Trinity is demonstrated by the concept of the two YHWHs who appear in the OT scriptures: the heavenly YHWH and the local YHWH who appears often times as a man.
